They can also visit the local Maasai community who live around the park and experience their authentic culture

Itinerary

Starting from Nairobi, we’ll pick you up at dawn in the comfort of our own 4×4 Tour Van/Landcruiser.

We’ll start early (07:00 am) on our journey to Maasai Mara Game reserve, Kenya’s finest wildlife haven

The Nairobi to Maasai Mara drive is via the panoramic Great Rift Valley with views of subsistence farmlands and local community settlements Along the safari route, there shall be stops to view interesting attractions including the Great Rift Valley escarpment.

Day 1:

Nairobi -Amboseli

Meal Plan: (Lunch & Dinner)

At the rift valley escarpment – you shall descend to the floors of the rift valley for a further drive through Maasai country as we progress to the Mara. Arrival at the Maasai Mara shall be in time for lunch.

Arrival and Lunch

We’ll settle in at designated lodge/camp to check in, have a short rest, freshen up and enjoy a sumptuous lunch. We’ve already spotted wildlife in the park, but our day has hardly begun!

Afternoon Game Drive

We’ll set out for more wildlife viewing on afternoon game drive. Covered by Savanna and acacia trees, the open flat plains will give you a superb chance to spot lions, elephants, herds of buffaloes and the gazelles, zebras, warthogs and waterbucks as they graze often in great numbers, though leopards and rhino can be shy.

Sunset at Masai Mara!

Masai Mara sunsets are the most beautiful one in the world. It is red, all red.” Said our Africa Safari guide and minivan driver, Ibrahim. Being a Maasai, he knows the rules of the land. He promised he will find us the best spot outside the park from where we can take a lingering view of the stunning show!

The Great Migration in Maasai Mara

Every year, we bear witness to one of the wonders of the natural world: the great migration. Thundering herds of wildebeest and zebra take an 800km journey in search of pastures new, dodging river crocodiles and land predators as they cross from the Serengeti into the Mara, then back again.

Maasai Mara reserve hosts the highest and varied concentration of wild animals than any other park in the region. The driver guide shall be readily available to discuss your daily activities depending on your preferences

The scenic appeal of this tree studded savannah plains, its moderate climate and diversity of wild game species makes it a one stop shop for game viewing activities. We shall traverse the reserve on a full day of unlimited game viewing encountering the big five and more of the lesser game

Day 2 & 3

A Full Day of Game Viewing

Today shall be a game viewing extravaganza! .

You shall visit the Mara river where you may watch hippos & crocodiles or maybe the great migration (July –October months)

Early morning wildlife viewing drives at the Maasai Mara. Depart for Nairobi with a lunch stop on the way. Arrive Nairobi in the late afternoon (app (4:30 pm).
